I watched last nites food doctor, amazing 29 year old lady that has had her knees and hips replaced, she looked fresh skinned after starting on the food doctor anti flam diet.
Re omega......I take high strengh pure cod liver oil 1000mg rich in omega 3 and vitamins a & d which supports joint, brain, skin, heart and immune health with 240mg active omega 3 in large plastic pot (240 capsules) take one a day.
Also, optiflex glucosamine hci 1000mg 2 a day.
Rose hip 250mg standardised extract one a day
Noone has said you must take it, I do in the hope of some good!
Plus the mexthtrix, sulf, hydro, folic acid, and pain relief
Rheumy said in the beginning to stop red meat (miss bacon muffin) I have poached egg muffin now and again, my husband has the bacon!!
I eat salmon......used to like mackerill gone off it (ate lots in the begining).
Love veggies, and fruit.
I got a book in the beginning of diagnosis - arthritis for dummies off amazon, it tells you of nightshades (what not to eat).
What did I learn last nite? Walnuts are good and low gi diet.....I have a rosemary connelly gi diet (before I had ra I sed to go to rosemary connelly) I think I might start up.
I pay £39.00 a month for local leisure centre haven't used for a while, I think I shall look to cancel save money.
Need to do something weight wise, so I can show the surgeon for my knee I'm showing willing!!
